Every day, millions of people across the UK are making a difference by volunteering. Their selfless acts of kindness deserve to be recognised and celebrated.
Would you nominate a local group that you believe deserves the prestigious King’s Award for Voluntary Service (KAVS)
Created in 2002 to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II’s Golden Jubilee, this Award, previously known as The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service (QAVS), has been shining a light on the incredible work of voluntary groups from all corners of the UK for many years.
It’s equivalent to an MBE (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire), and the recognition lasts a lifetime.
