Preventing homelessness is a key priority for Braintree District Council and following on from its adopted Healthy Housing Strategy last year Braintree District Council will continue to improve housing options and opportunities to alleviate homelessness pressures where able.
The Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2024-2029 is designed to expand on this and lists out four key priorities to achieve this.
The strategy is now open for public consultation and Braintree District Council would like to hear your views, particularly if you have experienced or faced the risk of homelessness yourself.
The consultation is open until 1 April and should only take five minutes of your time.
