Walk with Words is an interactive walking route connecting Colchester City Centre, the University of Essex, and Greenstead. Arranged on 16 posts, a QR code geo-locates content, offering walkers a diverse mix of materials inspired by the journey – contributed by the community and curated from existing pieces.

Walk With Words is more than a trail, it’s an exchange of stories, an exploration of imagination, and a discovery of place. It is a digital memory bank showcasing creative content designed to immerse walkers in the present moment and foster a connection to their surroundings. It offers an invitation for individuals to share their voices and listen to their neighbours. This evolving compilation mirrors the ever-changing community and landscape it inhabits.

Walk With Words has no beginning, middle, or end – it’s a journey without a destination.
